Announcement for the start of Dhū al-Ḥijjah & Eid ul-Adha 1445 AH

Asalamualaikum,

On Friday, 7 June 2024, we received reports of a positive sighting for the Hilal of Dhū al-Ḥijjah.

Therefore, the month of Dhū al-Qaʿdah has ended and the month of Dhū al-Ḥijjah has commenced.

Accordingly, Eid ul-Adha will be celebrated on Monday, 17 June 2024 In-Shaa-Allah, with the Eid Jama’ah taking place at 9am. All brothers, sisters and children are welcome.

From everyone at Bashir Ahmed Masjid, we wish you and your families a very happy and blessed Eid.

Please continue to remember in your duas our brothers and sisters who are suffering in Palestine, Sudan, and around the world.
