Bashir Ahmed Masjid is the second largest purpose built Mosque in Hampshire.  Inspired by their parents to serve the community, our founding trustees designed and constructed the Mosque, which opened to the public in December 2013.

Spread over two floors, the Mosque can accommodate 800 worshippers at any one time.  In addition to the daily congregational prayers, the Mosque provides educational classes for both adults and children, as well as a range of religious and secular activities and services.

Situated close to the University of Southampton, our congregation reflects the very diverse and multicultural nature of an international educational hub.  You will find worshippers of all denominations from across the world, each adding to the ambience of the Mosque.
