Asalamualaikum,

The prime minister yesterday announced a new national lockdown starting today.

Alhamdulillah, the Masjid will remain open for communal worship, however, you must not mingle with anyone outside of your household or support bubble. Furthermore, strict social distancing must be maintained at all times.

To ensure your safety, we are introducing some new measures in addition to those we already have in place:

* With immediate effect, all prayers will be held in the larger upstairs prayer hall. This is to facilitate an increase to the distance between worshippers.

* Windows will be kept open to allow greater ventilation. Please wear extra layers to keep warm.

The existing measures of wearing a mask at all times and bringing your own prayer mat remain in operation.

Anyone who is feeling unwell or showing symptoms should remain home and seek medical advice.
