Announcement for the start of Muḥarram 1445 AH

Asalamualaikum,

On Tuesday, 18th July 2023, we received a positive regional sighting report of the Hilal of Muḥarram.

Therefore, the month of Dhū al-Ḥijjah has ended and the month of Muḥarram has begun. Accordingly, the day of Ashura (10th Muḥarram) will be on Friday, 28th of July Insha'Allah.

It is recommended to fast on the 9th and 10th, or 10th and 11th, or all three days (9th, 10th and 11th) of Muḥarram.
