European Islamic Heritage - a talk by Dr. Stef Keris - 11 May 2021
Asalamualaikum, we're delighted to welcome Islamic historian, author and lecturer Dr. Stef Keris to the Masjid as guest speaker after Asr Salah tomorrow (7pm).
Dr. Keris is the founder of the Lost History Project and has authored several books and documentaries on Islamic history in Europe, focusing on the Ottoman Empire, Muslims in Andalusia, Scandinavia and the Balkans.
The talk will also be streamed live on our Facebook page and there will be an opportunity to ask questions.
Alhamdulillah, this is a unique chance to get an insight into the influence of Islam on Europe stretching back hundreds of years, so please spread the word!
